Meet Our Newest Results and People-Driven Technical Acquisition Specialist – Lyudmila
Today we will turn the spotlight on Lyudmila, our newest Talent Acquisition warrior at Devision. She is someone who believes that working harder than the competition, being fearless, and having a solid strategy for success are good first steps. However, you need a motivated team that’s ready to push the boundaries and help you reach that next level.
And that’s why Lyudmila believes that the key to a healthy, productive business is to build a team of the right people and to make sure that people are in the roles that fit and excel. And since people are at the centre of our company, Lyudmila is the perfect reflection of who we strive to be at Devision.
What’s your role at Devision?
I’m a technical acquisition specialist, meaning I’m responsible for identifying, assessing, hiring, onboarding, and retaining talented people to meet our specific organisational needs.
I really believe that having the right people in the right places makes all the difference, and I try to help make it happen. Dеvision’s results show that we are on the right path together. The good thing for me is that this helps me simultaneously grow as a professional. I couldn’t have asked for more.
Why did you join Devision and what has kept you here?
Devision is а super-friendly and supportive place, and that was one of the main reasons I joined the company.
People here are always helping each other without the added stress of juggling different orders from direct supervisors. Such an atmosphere is a pleasure to work in and grow your skill set, and I find it particularly rare.
Everyone at Devision appreciates the freedom with all the responsibilities that come naturally with it. I hope to be able to enjoy working here for as long as possible.
Before working at Division, what was the most interesting job you have ever had?
I was working in different roles, my latest one being a digital business manager, meaning I have helped business owners scale their businesses by optimising their systems and processes and managing their teams.
This role allowed me to communicate with different people and learn how to find the shortcut toward their essence of character.
How do you spend your time outside of the office?
In my leisure time, I enjoy being with my kids, reading books, and travelling. I also love building jigsaw puzzles.
How do you define success in life?
Success means different things to different people. To me personally, success is not a destination but a journey that helps you develop the skills you need to thrive.
It is the creation of new habits and the elimination of old, destructive ones, being able to see in the mirror an improved version of yourself and striving for cooperation rather than competition.
Are you an iPhone or Android type of person?
I’m an iPhone person who likes Android phones, so to keep the balance I have both. 🙂
What’s your favourite line from a movie?
“Do or do not. There is no try.” – Yoda in Star Wars.
What did you want to be when growing up?
I wanted to be a doctor, to serve people with harmony and work for the well-being of other people. Regardless, I’m not a doctor (because I am scared of blood), but I do help people find the next best place for their professional development.
What’s your favourite quote or motto?
“All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them.”, Walt Disney
